Success
Yulianna Kurtyak, 42 y.o., has worked as a supervisor at a plant, but has lost her job due to the crisis. The plant, located in the regional center could no longer provide transportation to workers living in other districts. Despite that, she did not give way to despair and decided to use all the available means to find a new job. While looking through the advertisements in the local newspapers, Yulianna saw the article about the opening of the Beregovo IDEA Training Center and decided to sign up for the computer courses. While studying she was called by her former colleagues and told her that the plant administration is looking for a person who would edit the factory newspaper. Yulianna Kurtyak has immediately applied for the job. She has passed the test with 94% score and has got a positive reply from the factory administration, thus starting from mid-April she has got a new job!
Overview
Yulianna Kurtyak is confident that that she took the right decision, as she has learned many new things at the courses and has gained considerable computer skills. Yulianna says that it is much better to study at the courses instead of trying to learn computer basics alone and that the teacher is very carefully and patiently works with beginners. “I am very thankful to the organizers and the center for support and to the IDEA project for the opportunity provided”.
