Success
Prior to addressing the IDEA training center Iryna Bobryk had a higher education and some life experience. Nonetheless, the courses have revealed new employment opportunities for her. Iryna is grateful to the program managers for creating in her city such an opportunity to attend courses and obtain the necessary knowledge in information technology. The knowledge acquired during the IDEA courses has helped Iryna to systematize her knowledge, improve her technical skills and find a job as an English and French translator.
Overview
The courses turned out to be very useful to Iryna Bobryk. She has learned to use those computer programs that she needed in her work: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet Explorer. Today, the translator’s job requires not only language skills but also good computer skills and ability to work effectively and quickly with the software. Iryna has learned to work with office applications, which are extremely necessary while performing translations. The Internet knowledge and skills also became very useful. The Internet is simply an indispensable tool for performing complex translations, or for finding typical language forms, tips, at the same time being an opportunity to communicate with colleagues on specialized sites and forums. The teacher at the IDEA center is just wonderful having an individual approach to every student in the class, providing detailed explanations of every new material, always showing goodwill and patience. Thank you very much!
