Database Fundamentals

Course description:
Database Fundamentals introduces the basics of using a relational database to create tables, forms, and reports. Students begin by learning basic database concepts and are soon creating their own database tables with Microsoft Access 2002. They learn how to edit and modify tables, as well as how to organize and store information in tables. Students build on this foundation to create and run queries, specify criteria, create calculated fields, and create multiple-table queries. A final chapter has students create an Access report using different methods, add controls to a report, format a report, and create calculated controls.
