The mission of the Social Partnership Center is to increase the life quality of the population of Ukraine.

The goal is to assist local social problems solving by means of uniting efforts of local authorities, local government, NGOs by providing consultations, informational, technical, and educational services to local NGOs and authority bodies.
In 2004 Social Partnership Center was a co-implementer of the project “Development of Civil Society in Kyiv and Selected Regions”, realized by support of European Union.
This project achieved the following results: Legal Board of Social Partnership was established; for the first time the Fair of socially oriented NGOs was held in Sumy region; study visits of NGO-partners to other NGOs of Ukraine and Poland were organized; the educational program of trainings and seminars was provided for 20 socially oriented NGOs selected in the framework of the project; the data base of mass media, NGOs and local authorities providing social services in Sumy region was formed; a number of publications for NGOs was published and distributed.

From July 2005 our NGO is a co-implementer of the project “Strengthening Civil Society” financed by European Union. Within the framework of this project the following activities were started:
- the second Fair of socially oriented NGOs was conducted;
- a monthly digest “Financing and Studying Opportunities” is being issued;
- a quarterly newsletter “Social Partnership” is being issued, which provides NGOs and local authorities with the chance to learn about the success stories of NGOs activity and news of the donor’s structures, news in legislation and activity of the Social Partnership Center;
- 17 NGOs were selected to take part in educational training program in order to improve their institutional capability in providing social services and to increase qualification of their workers;
- the network of 5 mini Social Partnership Centers was established in the rayons of Sumy region.
Social Partnership Center keeps cooperation with state authorities’ bodies. Due to our initiative the Social Partnership Board was formed and comprises the heads of the Youth and Sports Department of Sumy regional state administration, Sumy Regional Family, Children and Youth Social Services Center, the Department of Labor and People Social Protection of Sumy city council, the Internal Policy Department of Sumy regional state administration, Coalition of the public organizations “Volya Gromady”, Underage Affairs Service of Sumy regional state administration, Regional Justice Department.
In January, 2006 the meeting of the Social Partnership Board confirmed the strategy of the civil society organization development in 2006-2010. The main directions of our organization activity are the following: 1. Training Agency (responsible – Belyukina Nataliya)
